Apply to Part-Time Remote Executive Assistant to Founding Partners of a Media & Magazine Company
Our client, an established magazine and boutique marketing company, is seeking a part-time, remote Executive Assistant to support its two Founding Partners. This individual will help create structure, manage day-to-day priorities, and coordinate across administrative, sales, and marketing activities as the business continues to grow.
The ideal candidate is proactive, tech-savvy, highly organized, and comfortable managing competing priorities within a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment. Strong communication, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through are essential. The Founding Partners are seeking a long-term partner who can take ownership, anticipate needs, and grow with the company.
This role will begin at approximately 15 hours per week to start, with potential to increase hours and eventually full-time.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide administrative support to both Founding Partners, helping organize priorities, scheduling, correspondence, and follow-ups

Track projects, deadlines, and outstanding action items to keep work moving forward

Coordinate with sales representatives, graphic designers, and other team members across magazine and marketing projects

Support client communication and follow-up, adapting to different needs and personalities

Assist with lead generation, prospect research, and sales support

Maintain accurate contacts, client information, and activity tracking within HubSpot

Help coordinate digital marketing initiatives and the rollout of new products and services

Organize documents and information using Gmail and Google Workspace

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve day-to-day efficiency

Assist with special projects and other administrative needs as they arise
REQUIREMENTS

Prior experience supporting executives, founders, or business owners in a fast-paced environment

Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and reliable follow-through

Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently with limited oversight

Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Gmail and Google Workspace

Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar CRM; ability to learn new systems quickly

Comfortable partnering with clients and team members with varying communication styles

Flexible, hands-on approach and a “no task is too small” mentality

Interest in a long-term opportunity with room for increased hours and responsibility

Experience in media, publishing, marketing, or sales support is a plus
COMPENSATION
$30–40/hour, depending on experience
1099 independent contractor engagement
