Two-Day EA Assignment Supporting CEO/Founder | NYC | September 7–8 | $30–$40/Hour

Our client is seeking a polished, resourceful Executive Assistant to provide on-site support to a visiting CEO during a two-day board meeting in New York City September 7th and 8th. This individual will act as a “gal Friday,” remaining readily available throughout the day and handling a variety of executive and personal requests behind the scenes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, discreet, flexible, and comfortable anticipating needs with minimal direction. If the assignment goes well, there may be opportunities to provide support during future visits to New York City.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Meet the CEO at her hotel beginning at 7:30 AM and remain available throughout the day.
  • Coordinate breakfast, smoothies, lunch, beverages, and other food-related requests.
  • Prepare, print, and organize documents and materials needed for the board meeting.
  • Assist with clothing logistics, including locating same-day laundry or pressing services, coordinating drop-off and pickup, and ensuring outfits are ready.
  • Research and coordinate local services, transportation, and other logistical needs.
  • Remain on standby in the hotel or office lobby and respond quickly to requests as they arise.
  • Handle personal errands and miscellaneous ad hoc requests.
  • Provide potential evening support the night before the assignment, if needed.
  • Work discreetly behind the scenes while proactively anticipating the CEO’s needs. 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Prior experience supporting a senior executive in an EA, PA, hospitality, or high-touch service capacity.
  • Polished, professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and resourceful, with strong research and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and responding to requests with limited notice.
  • Flexible and willing to handle both executive and personal tasks.
  • Positive attitude and calm, service-oriented approach.
  • Must be available to work on Labor Day.
  • Must be based in or familiar with New York City.
HOURS
Two-day temporary assignment on Monday, September 7, and Tuesday, September 8, beginning at approximately 7:30 AM each day. Flexibility for extended hours and potential support may be required.
