Job Description
Our client, a successful and growing real estate investment firm, is seeking a sharp, energetic, and proactive Administrative Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support to its Principal. The company currently owns and operates more than 1,000 residential units throughout New York City and is expanding into new areas of the real estate market. The ideal candidate is an ambitious, earlier-career professional who is highly organized, polished, and eager to learn the business while taking ownership of the Principal’s day-to-day administrative needs. This individual will manage scheduling, drive follow-ups, organize the Principal’s extensive professional network, and ensure that important conversations and action items continue moving forward. The Principal’s longtime EA, who recently transitioned into a broader internal role, will provide hands-on training and support to position the new hire for long-term success.

$65-70K (DOE) + Discretionary Bonus

HOURS
Monday-Friday in office (New York City)
Approximately 9:00/10:00 AM-6:00 PM, with some flexibility as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide dedicated 1:1 administrative support to the Principal in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Manage the Principal’s calendar, calls, meetings, and scheduling needs
- Monitor follow-up items and proactively remind the Principal of upcoming deadlines, deliverables, and outstanding correspondence
- Coordinate follow-up meetings and ensure that important conversations and next steps continue progressing
- Organize and maintain the Principal’s network of brokers, owners, and other real estate contacts
- Draft and send polished emails, follow-up communications, and other professional correspondence
- Maintain organized contact lists, records, and administrative files
- Serve as an additional professional point of contact for the Principal’s external network
- Anticipate needs and proactively identify tasks that require the Principal’s attention
- Assist with occasional business-related errands and agency filings throughout New York City
- Support special projects and additional administrative needs as they arise
- Help improve internal systems and processes as the company continues to grow
REQUIREMENTS
- Prior administrative or professional office experience preferred, though extensive experience is not required
- Sharp, ambitious, and eager to learn and grow within the real estate industry
- Highly proactive with the confidence to take initiative without waiting for direction
- Polished and professional when communicating with brokers, owners, and other external contacts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining calm and composed under pressure
- Energetic, resourceful, dependable, and comfortable working within a small team
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to keep conversations, projects, and action items moving forward
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities
- Genuine interest in real estate and building a long-term career within a growing company
- Comfortable working in the office five days per week
SALARY
