Executive Assistant to C-Suite at Washington DC/Bethesda VC Firm (5x a week in person)

Our client, a well-established, science-driven investment firm, is seeking a highly capable and polished Executive Assistant to support senior leadership based in Bethesda / Washington, DC. This is a high-visibility role for an experienced EA who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable operating as a true extension of leadership.
This role requires a flexible, “pinch-hitter” mindset—someone who is energized by variety and comfortable stepping in to support different members of the C-suite as needs arise. The ideal candidate is proactive, unflappable, and able to seamlessly shift priorities while maintaining exceptional organization and professionalism. This role is in office five days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership, with regular coverage for the CFO and flexible support across the broader C-suite as needed.
  • Manage complex and strategic calendars, coordinating internal and external meetings across multiple stakeholders and time zones.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including preparing detailed schedules and agendas.
  • Prepare, reconcile, and track expense reports with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings and events, managing logistics, agendas, materials, and attendee communications.
  • Assist with a variety of strategic projects and firm-wide processes.
  • Serve as a professional and trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, representing leadership and the firm with discretion and polish.
  • Step in as needed to provide seamless administrative coverage during periods of increased activity or shifting priorities.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5–7 years of experience supporting senior executives or C-suite leaders in a fast-paced, professional environment (finance, VC, PE, life sciences, or similar).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong judgment and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and solutions-oriented.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability.
  • Comfortable working autonomously while staying aligned with leadership and team priorities.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of an organization.

HOURS:
8:30am–5:30pm
24/7 availability via phone and email as needed

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
  • $100K–$150K base salary (flexibility above range for exceptional candidates)
  • Target bonus: ~10% (historically paid)
