Our client, a global financial firm based in Manhattan, is looking to hire a star receptionist to work alongside their existing receptionist, in their Midtown office. The successful candidate must be well spoken, skilled, polished and have a nothing is beneath me attitude. The position requires 1 year of corporate experience and excellent communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer calls and transfer calls/take messages as needed
- Keep receptionist area in orderly manner
- Meet and greet clients and guests
- Maintain list of important contact numbers in building
- Coordinate and oversee a busy conference room calendar
- Arrange daily needs for conference rooms; A/V, computer, office supplies, catering, etc.
- Request building passes for any guests
- Clean up conference rooms as needed
- Order flowers, lunches, etc.
- Handle mail and overnight mail delivery
REQUIREMENTS
- 1 year of corporate/admin experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be proactive with a sense of urgency
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Strong customer service skills
- Positive and humble attitude
- Poised and polished demeanor
SALARY
$70-80K base + paid OT + discretionary bonus + GREAT benefits
HOURS
7:30am-6pm (staggered with other receptionist) ~45 hour work week
5x a week in office
