Our client, a global financial firm based in Manhattan, is looking to hire a star receptionist for their Midtown office. The successful candidate must be well spoken, skilled, polished and have a nothing is beneath me attitude. The position requires 2-3 years of corporate experience and excellent communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer calls and transfer calls/take messages as needed
Keep receptionist area in orderly manner
Meet and greet clients and guests
Maintain list of important contact numbers in building
Coordinate and oversee a busy conference room calendar
Arrange daily needs for conference rooms; A/V, computer, office supplies, catering, etc.
Request building passes for any guests
Clean up conference rooms as needed
Order flowers, lunches, etc.
Handle mail and overnight mail delivery
REQUIREMENTS
2-3 years of corporate/admin experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be proactive with a sense of urgency
Extremely detail-oriented and organized
Strong customer service skills
Positive and humble attitude
Poised and polished demeanor
SALARY $60-75K base + paid OT + discretionary bonus + GREAT benefits
HOURS 8:00am-6:00pm (1 hour break for lunch)
5x a week in office
