Receptionist at Midtown Financial Services Firm

New York, New York
Our client, a global financial firm based in Manhattan, is looking to hire a star receptionist for their Midtown office. The successful candidate must be well spoken, skilled, polished and have a nothing is beneath me attitude. The position requires 2-3 years of corporate experience and excellent communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Answer calls and transfer calls/take messages as needed
  • Keep receptionist area in orderly manner 
  • Meet and greet clients and guests 
  • Maintain list of important contact numbers in building
  • Coordinate and oversee a busy conference room calendar
  • Arrange daily needs for conference rooms; A/V, computer, office supplies, catering, etc. 
  • Request building passes for any guests
  • Clean up conference rooms as needed
  • Order flowers, lunches, etc.
  • Handle mail and overnight mail delivery
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • 2-3 years of corporate/admin experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be proactive with a sense of urgency
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Positive and humble attitude
  • Poised and polished demeanor
SALARY
$60-75K base + paid OT + discretionary bonus + GREAT benefits
 
HOURS
8:00am-6:00pm (1 hour break for lunch) 
5x a week in office
