Chief of Staff to Support Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer at a Real Estate Investment Firm in Washington, DC

Our client, a Real Estate Investment Firm in Washington, DC is looking to hire a rockstar Chief of Staff, who can seamlessly support the Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of the firm. The successful candidate must be well spoken, skilled, have the ability to think and operate strategically and be highly proactive. The ideal candidate must be organized analytical, resourceful and possess strong business judgement in order to streamline the executive’s professional life. The position requires a minimum of 10-12 years of Chief of Staff or Senior/high-level executive support. The candidate must be a strong communicator, proactive and hardworking. Ideally this person will be out of Real Estate or Finance at another fund. This role is 4x days a week in-office and 1x (Friday) remote. With the idea that the role is hybrid, this candidate must be available any day if there is a meeting onsite that they need to be present for.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide administrative support to Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of the firm
Manage/oversee team of two admins who will also be supporting the Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer
Maintain intense, complex and frequently changing calendar
Coordinate all aspects of business related meetings and conference calls
Handle all confidential business matters and work independently on special assignments
Organize and coordinate full travel arrangements for business travel (both domestic and international, private and commercial) – including lodging, commercial flights, charter air, ground transportation, tours, dining reservations, special activities, COVID-19 testing and requisite paperwork
Oversee special projects for Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of the firm
Anticipate needs and plan accordingly for them
REQUIREMENTS
Min 10-12 years of support experience
Experience managing support staff
Strong sense of judgement
Very proactive and thorough approach
Detail-oriented, organized, and quick-witted
Ability and willingness to take initiative with limited direction / feedback
Exhibits utmost professionalism and discretion
Ability to interact with variety of people
Exceedingly flexible and able to prioritize in fast-paced/high-pressure environment
Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capacity
Bachelor’s degree preferred
20-25% Travel
SALARY $150-200K (DOE) + Discretionary Bonus + Great Benefits
HOURS 9am-6:00pm + flexibility for minimal OT as needed
